Welcome
Day 1 May 17, 2011 Innovations & Approaches for ES4VP
Day 2 May 18, 2011 Towards a Common ES4VP Framework
Day 3 May 19, 2011 Policies, Institutions, Private Sector & Government

This e-consultation will bring people from multiple disciplines together in order to learn from each other’s recent innovations on reaching the very poor and helping them move along an economic strengthening pathway towards increased economic self-reliance and growth. Through knowledge sharing and discussion, participants will learn how they might fill in gaps and create synergies in their approaches to economic strengthening of the bottom billion.

By better understanding various dimensions of extreme poverty and identifying different segments within ultra-poor populations, e-consultation participants can start building a common conceptual framework that reveals relevant entry points for different interventions and services along a pathway from extreme poverty towards economic self-reliance.

This e-consultation will form the foundation of a conceptual framework. This framework will be built upon actual evidence and experiences, reviewing interventions across individual projects and interventions targeting extreme poor. The framework will be shared publicly later this year, and participants will be asked to identify future learning agenda items and opportunities for collaborative, interdisciplinary learning.
